Congbo Wang, a native of Zhejiang, China, is currently serving at the Hangzhou Customs of the People’s Republic of China. He is responsible for promoting the implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) system within the Hangzhou Customs jurisdiction and actively explores digital reforms of the AEO program. He has led the development of the AEO online cultivation and certification system that is now in use at Hangzhou Customs. As a senior expert in customs enterprise credit management, Mr. Wang has been actively involved in revising customs enterprise credit management methods and standards for advanced certified enterprises. He has participated in training customs certification personnel across the nation and AEO mutual recognition initiatives with other countries, including organizing on-site certification observations. Mr. Wang has also contributed to the research and drafting of the General Administration of Customs report titled “Building a ‘Customs-AEO Platform Enterprises’ Cooperation Mechanism to Enhance Customs Cross-border E-commerce Credit Management Level,” where he has conducted theoretical research on the application of the AEO system in the field of cross-border e-commerce.
