Selina Clarke-Graham, J.P. Deputy CEO Operations Jamaica Customs Agency Has responsibility for Central Operations, International and Industry Liaison Unit, Western and Montego Bay Operations and Kingston Operations. Mrs. Clarke- Graham’s career spans twenty-nine years six months in the Jamaica Customs. She has worked in numerous capacities such as, Clerical Officer, Customs Officer, Manager, Director, Assistant Commissioner, Senior Director Kingston Operations and currently Deputy Commissioner, Operations. She is the holder of a Master of Science Degree in Public Policy and Management as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree with double Major in Accounts and Management Studies, Certificate in Management Studies, and a Certificate in Project Management. She has benefited from numerous internal and external professional development courses that have equipped her for her new role. Mrs. Clarke-Graham possesses excellent negotiating and mediating skills, is quality driven and has an outstanding ability to interact with people both internally and externally. She believes that all men have a right to receive the highest level of customer service and is committed to ensuring that the Jamaica Customs Agency fulfils that mandate, in addition to the other roles such as revenue collection and protection of our borders. She chairs and serves on various committees within the organization, such as the Authorized Economic Operator Committee and the Procurement Committee and has written and participated in the development of numerous Customs procedural documents. Mrs. Clarke- Graham served as the Customs representative on the Soaps and Detergent Committee at the Bureau of Standards which dealt with the revision of the Jamaican Standard Methods of Test for Soaps & Detergents-JS126:2013 and Jamaican Standard Specification for Synthetic Laundry Detergent Powder JS 73:2013 and was the Customs representative on the steering committee that handled the transformation of the Taxpayer Appeals Department to the Revenue Appeals Division. Mrs. Clarke-Graham serves in various leadership capacities within her church and her community and holds the mantra “that your mountains can become plains, if you believe".
