Mr. Sam Li, Vice President of Tencent, is leading Government and Enterprise Business Division of Tencent Cloud. Mr. Li is responsible for Tencent Cloud's regional business, channel management and key vertical businesses, including Government, Discrete Industries, Energy & Natural Resources, Agricultural Industries, Tourism & Culture, Sports, Real Estate, Infrastructure & Communication, Education. Mr. Li devotes himself to drive efficiency improvement in public services and social governance, and accelerate innovation and transfermation in enterprises, by leveraging his expertise in cutting-edge digital technologies and deep understanding of government and enterprises digital needs. Before joining Tencent, Mr. Li was the President of SAP China. With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, he has a very forward-thinking and in-depth understanding of business management software, cloud computing, and innovative business models. In 2018, Mr. Li was named as a member of Shanghai’s 13th Political Consultative Conference, and was acknowledged as one of the top 10 influential figures in China's ICT industry. In 2019, Mr. Li was invited to be a senior economic consultant for the Shaanxi Province, and a visiting professor at the University of International Business and Economics. Mr. Li was also recognized with " The Respected Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 award in China" held by The Economic Observer. In 2020, Mr. Li became an International Economic Advisor to the Mayor of Chongqing. In 2023, Mr. Li was named as a member of Shanghai’s 14th Political Consultative Conference.
