• Administrative career of twenty-five years in the Customs Service of Guatemala, supporting in regulatory and operational areas, head of the Authorized Economic Operator Unit -AEO- from 2012 to 2019.
• Graduated from the 60th program of the World Customs Organization -WCO-, WCO Leadership and Management Development Programs, carried out in Belgium and the Republic of Korea in 2013, developing the topic of the Authorized Economic Operator.
• First Customs Attaché of the Customs Service of Guatemala at the Embassy of Guatemala in the Kingdom of Belgium from September 2019 to 2021, joint project SAT and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala, participated in two complete cycles of all meetings of the World Organization of Customs.
• Currently head of the Trade Facilitation Unit and Authorized Economic Operator, Customs Administration of Guatemala.
• Accredited Expert of the World Customs Organization on the figure of the Authorized Economic Operator.
• Part of the technical team that supported Guatemala's Accession process to the Revised Kyoto Convention of the World Customs Organization.
• Head representative of the Customs Administration in the National Trade Facilitation Committee of Guatemala.
• • Representative of the Guatemalan Customs Administration in the Working Group of the Safe Regulatory Framework (SAFE) of the WCO, advancing at a technical level the proposal of the Guatemalan Customs Administration, that it be a requirement for the AEOs, to have a Code of Conduct (ethics).
• Leader assigned by the Customs Administration of Guatemala for the technical process of signing the Multilateral Mutual Recognition Arrangement of Central America on the subject of the Authorized Economic Operator -AEO-, between the Customs services of Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, which was signed on April 26, 2019 and the Honduran Customs Service joined in December 2022.
• Leader assigned by the Customs Administration of Guatemala for the technical process of signing bilateral MRAs on the AEO figure between the customs administrations of Peru-Guatemala (October 2021), Dominican Republic-Guatemala (October 2021), Guatemala-Ecuador (January 2022) and Guatemala-Colombia (May 2022).
• Leader assigned by the Customs Administration of Guatemala for the technical process of signing the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the Americas on the AEO figure, between 11 Customs Services of the Region of the Americas and the Caribbean (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay) in May 2022.
• Leader assigned by the Customs Administration of Guatemala for the technical process that allows for the signing of the action plans to advance mutual recognition arrangements on the bilateral AEO figure, between the Customs Administrations of Guatemala-United States of America (19 July 2022 at the CTPAT global event) and between the Tax Administrations of Guatemala-Mexico, the signing is expected to be carried out in November 2022.
• SGCS BASC certification auditor and ISO 28000-2015 Auditor, in July 2022 certification of the new ISO 28000-2022 standard.
